Time & Location

06 May 2026, 10:30 – 12:00

Jesmond Library, St George's Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 2DL, UK

About the event

Bill Harbottle will have details of the 2026 edition of EC Rider, published by the Elders Council of Newcastle, and containing details of a wide range of possible day trips or shorter visits by public transport. Barbara Douglas will tell us about her recent trip to Wooler by bus, and we hope that attendees will have some other recommended excursions.

Wellbeing for Life meetings normally take place on the first Wednesday of each month, in Jesmond Library. Each month's meeting has a different theme, all within the overall context of the Five Ways to Wellbeing.

All are welcome to join us, but the meetings are primarily for older people.

Refreshments are provided and the Community Minibus may be available if transport is an issue for you. Attendance is free, but donations help cover the cost of refreshments. Please email events@jesmondlibrary.org if you have any queries including possible help with transport.
