Jesmond Library, St George's Terrace, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne NE2 2DL, UK

About the event

Ruth Dodds of the Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service will be our guest speaker at this meeting. She will be helping us to identify fire and associated lifestyle hazards in our homes, and give us some tips in how to avoid accidents and stay safe, especially if we have reduced mobility, deafness or other relevant health issues.

Wellbeing for Life meetings normally take place on the first Wednesday of each month, in Jesmond Library. Each month's meeting has a different theme, all within the overall context of the Five Ways to Wellbeing.

All are welcome to join us, but the meetings are primarily for older people.

Refreshments are provided and the Community Minibus may be available if transport is an issue for you. Attendance is free, but donations help cover the cost of refreshments. Please email events@jesmondlibrary.org if you have any queries including possible help with transport.
